Revenue Stamps selling from counter
Revenue Stamps are sold directly to the customers (except stamp agents) from the counters of the department. The stamps are sold from the counters at face value.
If a customer wants to buy Revenue Stamps worth more than Rf.500 (in one denomination or in different denominations) directly from the counter requires to submit his/her national I.D card as a proof of identity.
Revenue Stamps sold at the counters of the department are non-refundable. Hence the customer is requested to check he/she has received the intended number of stamps and denominations.
Taxpayer Services Section mainly manipulates the records of fees & taxes which pays to the Department of Inland Revenue, and maintain their details in our database. IT Section responsibility is to make all the sections available with the latest technologies in the world and make the computers update with them.
